We will Participate in COP30 On-Site! Notice Regarding Material Provision and Information Sharing
Following last year, we will be participating in COP on-site again this year.
The Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) will be held for approximately two weeks from November 10th to 21st, 2025.
It has been 10 years since the Paris Agreement was adopted, which set a long-term global goal of limiting the rise in global temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels, and ideally to 1.5°C. COP30 will discuss how to translate the new reduction targets submitted by each country into measures to achieve the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C target, as well as the preparation and provision of “climate finance” to support developing countries that are vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Amid concerns about delays in climate change measures, such as the US’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, this is an important conference in which each country’s stance toward resolving climate change will be put to the test.
